On May 12th, 2013 I will complete my journey to a Masters Degree in Educational Technology Leadership and the requirements for Principal Certification in the State of Texas. I will now start a new journey to becoming a campus leader. I am prepared with the credentials but not the experience.
A friend and colleague shared a book on effective leadership. I was so impressed by the book and approach to learning about effective leadership that I am setting a personal and professional goal to complete the 124 actions referenced in the book to learn and start to put into practice effective campus leadership. The book is titled Leading Every Day, 124 Actions for Effective Leadership by Kaser, Mundry, Stiles, & Louks-Horsley.
This blog will be a reflective account of my journey through the book and my journey to school leadership.
